Weekly Round-Up

In today’s weekly round up, there’s… well not a great deal of racing in truth! But there have been numerous goings on in the betting systems world, so today’s post will bring you up to speed with that, plus an interesting little ‘experiment’ I’ll be embarking on in the New Year, which you might be a part of. 😉

Firstly, horse racing and betting systems. Jump Jockey Profits has now closed its doors to new members, and congratulations to those of you who have joined up for a quid (or at  ahealthy discount for a longer period). I know Kieran is flabbergasted and absolutely determined to do everything he can for you guys.

Unfortunately for him, the weather has decided to throw a rather large icy spanner in the works for the time being at least. As such, there’s barely been a race meeting held yet. But that hasn’t stopped JJP getting off the mark with its first runner, at Exeter on Sunday. I’ll be following the service with interest, as will plenty of you, in the coming months. Looks an excellent portfolio addition.

Elsewhere in the world of betting systems and betting system reviews, I’m delighted to report that my new lieutenant, Paul, is already engaging with some kind readers who have agreed to take on betting system trials here on Geegeez (and across my other sites).

You should start seeing review posts on the blog as of now. Starting with…

I’ve seen a lot of hype and virtual hot air over the last few days from a service called, Football Betting Code. It’s a low cost six month subscription to a football tipping service, where the tips are sent by email.

Sounds good so far, right? Well, as you’ll see from my Football Betting Code review here, there are reasons to be fearful. I won’t go into them here, as that will only duplicate what’s on the review page, but suffice it to say that I shall be tracking this one personally on the blog for a little while on that link…

Also coming up on the review front are extended trials of …. well, you’ll see in a couple of days! Tracking the latest reviews will be simpler in future, as I’ve asked Paul to ask the guys to put each day’s updates beneath the previous days’ results on the same review page.

So, to see what’s going on at any given time, you simply select the topic, SYSTEM REVIEWS, from the box at the top of every Geegeez page, like so:

That will bring up a list of the most recent betting system reviews. Clicking one of these will enable you to see how it performed, chronologically, since the start of its trial. If that sounds like a lot of faff, it isn’t.

It’s one click to get to all the reviews, and another click to start reading. Simples, as a certain past his sell-by mammalian rodent-type creation, might say.

And finally, two dates for your diary. This Friday sees Khajaaly’s much anticipated return to the racetrack. After his win on the Wolverhampton seven furlong course back on 19th November, we’ve all been awaiting news of the next run, which will be… on the Wolverhampton seven furlong course. Fingers, toes and everything else firmly crossed.

The other date, which is to what the experiment allusion earlier related, is April 3rd. I took part in a charity auction over the weekend and my bids on a couple of lots were sunk without trace. But my biggest bid in the auction (by a factor of five!) was a winning bid.

I have won the right to sponsor the Listed Alleged Stakes at the Curragh next April! Last year, none other than Fame And Glory made his seasonal debut in the contest, so there’s a good chance of some reasonable exposure for the site from the sponsorship deal. Who knows, it might even recoup some of the investment I’ve made?!

Now I also have the opportunity to fill a box at the races that day with 24 racing enthusiasts. Between now and then, I’ll think of a way of offering this to Geegeez readers, either in the form of a competition or simply a prize draw.

First, I need to check that they’re ok with my naming it the ‘Geegeez.co.uk Alleged Stakes’… 🙂
