Win Tickets to the Cheltenham Festival 2011
The ‘soaraway’ Sun are sponsoring one of the main stands at the Cheltenham Festival this year, dear reader, and Geegeez has teamed up with The Sun and offered me two tickets for each day of the Festival (next Tuesday 16th to next Friday 19th March).
As I’m already going on the Wednesday and have work commitments for you lovely people on the other three days, I’m offering YOU the chance to go to Chelters with a mate / spouse / random stranger one of the days next week.
Now then, first the wanton promotion of the Sun (always has been an estimable newspaper packed full of insighful editorial and wonderful images ;))
In celebration of The Sun’s sponsorship of the Best Mate’s enclosure at Cheltenham Festival, they’re giving away FREE daily bets of £1 in the paper and £5 online in association with Ladbrokes all of next week!  For your FREE bets, pick up their 12-page racing pull-out ‘Favourite,’ crammed full of everything you need to know about the Festival 2011.
We are also pleased to announce ‘Fantasy Cheltenham’ has launched, a FREE-to-play tipster game where you can win great prizes everyday: www.thesun.co.uk/fantasycheltenham
So there you go, if you grab a copy of the Sun next week, there will be a racing pullout in there. Pop along to Laddies on your high street for a free bet. Fair enough. If you go online and register with Laddies there, you’ll bag a fiver freebie wager. Also fair enough.
And, if you fancy having a crack at the Fantasy Cheltenham stable thingie, the link is above.
Assuming I’ve done enough of a plug to please the beaks at the red top’s HQ, I’ll have two tickets for each of the four days of the festival. To be in with a chance of winning, send an email with your name and full postal address to whichever of the below email addresses corresponds to the day you wish to attend Cheltenham:
tuesday@geegeez.co.uk
wednesday@geegeez.co.uk
thursday@geegeez.co.uk
friday@geegeez.co.uk
You can enter for as many days as you like, and entries must be received by this Thursday (10th) at 4pm, to give me the chance to mail the tickets out to you.
The tickets are, unsurprisingly, for use in the Sun-sponsored Best Mate Stand, and you’ll need to arrange your own transport etc. That’s a saving of £50 on the day. In fact, that stand has sold out for Gold Cup day, so this is an excellent opportunity to watch what may be Denman, Imperial Commander and Kauto Star’s respective swansongs.
Anyway, if you can get there and want to go, send an email to the respective mailbox and you’ll be in with a chance.
My decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into, etc.
Winners announced on the blog on Friday.
Good luck!
Matt
