Winners Agency Service Review

The Winners Agency Service is a backing service and the selections are available by telephone from 9.30am each day or they can be e-mailed to you.

The selections come from Breon Rawlings, former City worker who took very early retirement to pursue a career in betting!
He has been producing racing systems and services for over 15 years now and the Winners Agency is his latest creation. The service itself is actually managed by Sportworld Publishing who forward Breon’s selections on a daily basis to his subscribers and costs £50 per month. Alternatively you can look at this as a 5pt outlay per month at £10 per point as recommended by the service.

Based upon the £10 per point basis, the service show a profit of over £700 in the last 3 months backing all selections to win. The Winners Agency bets are also showing a healthy profit for E/W backers too: 78pts profit in just 2 months.

Their bottom line claim is that they make an average of 5-10 points profit per week from 2-3 selections per day, all at level stakes to win, with the occasional each way advice. The returns are calculated using Betfair SP.  We also showed the results after deducting the Betfair commission of 5%.

We trialled this service for a period of  60 days and recorded the results below on a daily basis at Betfair SP based on a nominal stake of £10 win or £10 each way, giving a total outlay of 2 points per advice.

Winners Agency Final Verdict:

During the 60 days of the trial, we had 89 horses to back.

Of the 89, we had 17 winners = 19.1% Strike Rate
54 horses (including the 17 winners) were placed =  60.67% Strike Rate

These strike rates are undoubtedly impressive as an isolated statistic, but the average price of the selections meant that no profit was achieved.

Backing each horse to a £10 win stake:
Outlay: £890, Returns: £602.32 ==> Overall Loss of £287.68 (= 32.32% of our stakes) 

Backing each horse to a £10 win & £10 place bet:
Outlay: £ 1780, Returns: £1566.59 ==> Overall Loss of £213.41 (= 11.99% of stakes) 

However, despite all this, I did manage to find some positives from the review!

If we had just backed all of the selections to be placed at £10 level stakes:
A £890 outlay would have generated £1003.51: a profit of £113.51: a 12.75% overall profit.

Breon Rawlings (the service author) was an absolute pleasure to deal with and answered all questions very readily and provided a very efficient email service to us over the the course of the review.

It was unfortunate, that the results didn’t match his commitment and endeavour, but despite the seemingly-poor returns, I’m not quite ready to consign this to the bin. I feel (based on the consistent places achieved) that there could still be something here for some of us.

As a result, I’m going to declare a Neutral Verdict for now, with a view to revisiting it later.
