Stat of the Day Update: 13th to 19th August

Well, what a difference a week makes at SotD!
Last week I was bemoaning our poor run of form, culminating in last week being the worst of all our 43 weeks since starting. This week was an excellent week with 2 straight win bets coming home, a double-digit E/W bet won and we’d an E/W placer to boot.

4 winning bets from 6 has turned August on its head: our monthly strike rate is now almost on par with our overall record, as is the POI for the month and even i was finally able to help contribute to the score board after a pretty dismal personal dry spell!

Both Matt and myself have also taken great heart and inspiration from the large number of positive messages of support rom you all during our recent drought: hopefully we can now maintain our push over the next two months when SotD will celebrate its first birthday. I can’t wait to see the results for our first year.
