Breeders Cup 2012: Friday Trends / Tips
The Breeders Cup is the last big flat racing jamboree of the year (Australian and far Eastern prizes, notwithstanding), and I’m flying there this afternoon for some R&R: Roving and Reporter duties!
I’ve already written a couple of pieces to get you in the mood, covering the Santa Anita course constitution (different from anywhere else in US) and the Breeders Cup pre-entries.
Later today (Monday 29th October), the post position draw will be made, and this can – and will – have a significant bearing on how a fair number of horses are ridden and, consequently, on their chances of winning.
Ahead of that however, I’ve published the trends for Friday’s six Breeders Cup races, in (what I hope is) handy tabular format.
My appreciation goes to the epic volume which is Progressive Handicapping’s ‘Crushing the Cup 2012’, from which I garnered much of the angles in the below. All images can be clicked on to render full size – you can then use your browser’s ‘back’ button to return to this screen.
Alternatively, I’ve put them all in a pdf, which you can download at the bottom. 🙂
