A happy Hallowe’en to all (well, it’s a big deal out here at least!). We managed to nick a half point profit yesterday which, the way it’s been going can be classed as a victory of sorts.

It’s tough today in truth, with nothing standing out especially. Allied to the fact that SotD confidence is lower than its usual brimful self currently, and you have a lukewarm selection. Please note that.
OK, caveat emptor in place, the topweight Galatian is dropping down in class here, and that could be significant. In Class 4 races, he’d been struggling with just one win from his last 16 races in that grade or above. Take those out of his sequence, however, and his form figures since going handicapping look like this: 64111.
Galatian has won on all weather, albeit at Kempton, and will appreciate this weaker company. He has won over seven furlongs as well, and all runs have been for today’s jockey, James Millman.
He’s 9/1 BOG as I write, but I think we might do better than that in the morning, so do check the odds available.
