There’s no excuses from me, I’m just having a torrid time of it at present. I can’t seem to buy a winner and even when we get one that really should win, some external force takes a hand. Quaddick Lake was denied what looked like a certain victory by being badly hampered, whilst Sunday’s selection Flying Pickets was held up for far too long and from too far back to catch the winner.

It might sound a little like a loser’s hard-luck storytime, but that’s how close we were to making 3.15pts on the week rather than losing 5.85pts. Thankfully, we’re still well ahead of the game and looking for better this week.
