Well, unfortunately February went out with more of a whimper than a bang and this last week has proved to be a frustrating one. An 8/1 runner-up who really should have been an E/W bet but wasn’t, taking betfair SP about a placer instead of the increased odds on offer earlier, a 25/1 E/W shot finishing 1 place outside the money had all already got me scratching my head before the final coup de grace of Sunday’s selection.

I highlighted a really good angle, but there were two qualifiers. One was a winner at 13/2, one finished last at 8/1. No prizes for guessing where my shilling had gone! So, it was a poor result for February, but we’ve dusted ourselves down and we’re looking forward to a better March.
