Cheltenham Festival Tipping Competition: Rules and Day One
After the success of the last tipping competition, with over 200 entries, I’ve decided to do it all over again! And BetVictor have very kindly agreed to offer another generous bookie bet prize, totaling £100.
The rules are the same as last time.
Firstly, the prize is for the top aggregate profit-maker over the course of the four days of the Cheltenham Festival.
The overall winner will get £100 in vouchers to bet with. Not too shabby!
In the event of a tie for the prize, count back will be brought into play. For the top scorer, we’ll review second places and, if necessary, third places, etc.
OK, if that is all reasonably clear, here’s how to enter:
A. You need a BetVictor account to enter this time. If you don’t yet have one, you can register here.* The lucky winners will receive their prizes direct to their account.
B. Then, it’s as easy as 1-2-3. 1. In the comments space, you need to enter your picks; 2. Then fill in your name, email address and, in the ‘website’ space, BetVictor username.
Then 3. click ‘Post Comment’. An example is below:
C. I will update each night, and maintain a leaderboard of overall performance.
And, er, that’s it!
*When you open a BetVictor account, they’ll match your first bet up to £25 with a free bet.
They’re also refunding all losing bets on the Supreme Novices’ Hurdle up to £50 as a free bet, if My Tent Or Yours wins!
OK, so to the business of Tuesday’s races.
Your fancies please for any three Cheltenham Festival races on Tuesday. (No more than one per race)
[Note, entries without a BetVictor username won’t qualify for this competition, I’m afraid.]
If you don’t yet have a BetVictor account, click the banner below and sign up, then join in the competition fun! 😀
