Matt set off on his skiing trip in the early hours of this morning armed with the knowledge that he secured a 5.05/1 place double yesterday, thanks to placers at 7/1 and 6/1 and |I’m aiming to follow that up with back to back races at Wolverhampton this evening. I’m taking no chances with this terrible weather!
So on to the first leg, which is the…
Angelina Ballerina will probably be a warm favourite after winning over course and distance on Monday, when Sofia’s Number One was 4th on that occasion. Sofia’s Number One only just missed out on a place that day and at 20/1 was excellent value and seemed to be staying on strongly.
She meets the favourite on better terms today and with a better draw in the bag, can go closer. Odds of 7/1 at Hills and BetVictor seem generous. Mark Coumbe is on board today, claiming 3lbs for trainer Roy Bowring, who has a 34.5% place strike rate with jockeys claiming 3lbs over the last couple of years!

Today’s offering is more speculative than Matt’s recent efforts, as the double pays 87/1 with BetVictor, who are also best odds guaranteed. The place only part currently pays 6.2/1.
Back Sofia’s Number One and Royal Bajan in an each way double with BetVictor, with the win part paying 87/1 (Best Odds Guaranteed).
(And if you open a new account with BetVictor, they’ll match your first bet with a free wager, up to £25.)
