Daily Dabble, 25th March 2013

Apologies for the lateness of today’s piece, but thankfully we do now appear to be over the problems that beset us over the weekend.

It was, however, a good weekend for the Daily Dabble, as we recorded place doubles on both Saturday and Sunday. In fact we came within a whisker of an excellent 55/1 double yesterday, but settled for a 7/1 winner and a 6/1 runner-up. This brought about a very satisfactory end to the first week of this service, but no resting on our laurels. We’ve two more for you today.

West Leake comes here in good form having won over course and distance last time out just four weeks ago. This horse was flying a couple of years ago and despite a long losing run, looked back to his best last time out. He stayed on well to win here and his last five runs read 35221 with both those runner-up positions being defeats of less than a length. On past weight, he’s still favourably weighted for at least a place at a current best price of 6/1.

Conducting is fairly speculative selection here. Available as big as 18/1 in places, a dual C&D winner is in good nick with finishes of 11342 this year so far and has been eased back a pound by the handicapper. I expect another bold effort from this one today and that 18/1 looks massive, I actually expected to get 8/1 to 10/1, so I think there’s plenty of value in this one.

Today’s offering is admittedly by far the most speculative Daily Dabble to date, as the double pays 132/1 with BetVictor, who are also best odds guaranteed. The place only part currently pays a massive 11.1/1

Back West Leake and Conducting in an each way double with BetVictor with the win part paying 132/1 (Best Odds Guaranteed)
