Daily Dabble, 30th March 2013
No dice on the 28th, with a winner and an unplaced selection, and no racing yesterday. So, we’re back in the fold today with some very tricky contests. It’s been hard finding two with strong place chances, but I’ve sided with the following…
Humbie is in really good nick at present and offers some value as second favourite. This is his ground, and he’s won and been placed in two trips to the track. His record in Class 3 races reads 61312 and I’m very hopeful he’ll get us off to at least a placed start. He’s currently 9/2 and being backed.

Although fairly short at around 7/2, I reckon this fella has a cracking chance of winning. Nigel Twiston-Davies’ Jean De Florette ran a really promising debut on very deep ground at Taunton last time. Beaten less than three lengths in third that day, he should appreciate quicker ground here and, with the benefit of experience, can go very close. The Twister yard remain in excellent form.
The win double pays 21.5/1 with BetVictor, and that’s best odds guaranteed too. The place double pays a sniff over 2/1 and looks solid.
Back Humbie and Jean de Florette in an each way double with BetVictor with the win part paying 21.5/1 (Best Odds Guaranteed)
