No joy again yesterday, as both selections failed to make the frame. We’re enduring somewhat of a sticky patch at present, but today is another day and we’ll start with…

Where Rhagori represents the in form Ralph Beckett yard. This horse was placed in all five contests last year with a record of 42121, the last two runs coming over today’s trip. He’ll get the trip and the yard’s 30% strike rate in the last fortnight (8 winners & 6 places from 27) augurs well for us here. 5.45 Sedgefield

Which despite a couple of withdrawals sees Oniz Tiptoes at a very healthy 13/2 with Bet365, although that probably won’t last long. A four times course winner, twice over C&D. In fact in 10 C&D attempts, this horse hasn’t been out of the first four home, so we’re hoping for another good show.

The double pays 74/1 and the place part is around 13/2 with Bet365, whose odds are guaranteed to be best.
