Daily Dabble, 5th May 2013

Back to earth with a bump yesterday, as both Naabegha and Up Ten Down Two were soundly beaten, neither getting anywhere near the places, finishing 7th at 9/1 and 6th at 8/1 respectively. 4.20 Limerick

Where Missunited is 13/2 (1/5 odds for the place) with PaddyPower. This is a reliably decent dual codes mare who has won eight out of eighteen races with three other place finishes. This 61% place strike rate is good enough for inclusion today and the hope is that the two short-priced horses at the head of the market burn each other out to allow ours to take the race. She comes here fit from a winter jumps campaign when she won a Grade 3 hurdle here at Limerick as recently as mid-March, whilst her record on the flat is particularly good at 21112.

5.10 Hamilton

Uncle Brit had an excellent season last time around with figures of 342112, the last of those six runs resulting in a narrow defeat by Joshua The First who re-opposes today over a shorter trip which is expected to suit our selection more. He has admittedly been off the track since that Carlisle run back in June 2012, but if he can hit the ground running for his seasonal debut, there’s no reason why he can’t take this one at 9/2 (1/5 odds for the place) with both PaddyPower and BetVictor.

The double pays just over 40/1 and the place part is priced at just over 100/30 (3.37/1), both with PaddyPower (BOG, of course!).

Back Missunited and Uncle Brit in an each way double with PaddyPower, the win part paying 161/4 (40.25/1) (Best Odds Guaranteed)
