Stat of the Day Update: 09/12/13 to 15/12/13
Last week proved to be a very disappointing one for me in more ways than one and results for SotD didn’t help my feeling of general malaise.
One selection fell foul of the weather and one was a good winner at double its SP, but only one other horse from 5 actually made the frame.
I suppose I should take some cold comfort from the fact that all six runners went off at shorter than advised odds. My average advised price was 4/1 and the average SP of our runners was below 11/4. In fact our advised prices were on average, some 47% better than SP and if we could do that every day, we’d certainly make money in the long run.
Short-term, however, we lost 2pts!
