It was a strange week last week with good results at the start and end, but some terrible dross in between. Monday’s 4/1 winner coupled with a 7/1 runner-up yesterday restricted the damage to just 0.8pts, a figure I can live with from a week that wasn’t good.

Yet, had Taquka not got nailed right on the line on Wednesday, we’d have escaped with a healthy profit of 2.7pts, these are the fine margins within which we operate!

Nevertheless, we ended January with a decent return of almost 11pts and we look to do the same this month too.
