Stat of the Day Update, 17th to 22nd March 2014
Stat of the Day Update: 17/03/14 to 22/03/14
To all of our SotD readers, especially those who have only recently joined: a message of defiance!
Yes, last week was a shocker with only one horse even making the frame on the way to a 0/6 whitewash. Although, in my defence, I felt a little let down by some famous names/faces, especially on Tuesday when Doldrums should have won. I know I’d have still lost a point over the week, but that’s considerably better than I got.
This also means that March’s figures don’t look great either, but we’ve made profits in months from a worse position from this and there’s every chance that we can still overturn a 7.6pts deficit with seven picks still to come.
What I do need to reiterate is that the mindset and the selection procedure still hasn’t changed, we’re just enduring a poor run at a time of year that is notoriously difficult anyway and our past record show we always bounce back, hence our consistent Strike Rate and ROI over the last 29 months or so since we started this service.
I’m here until Wednesday, before embarking on a family holiday to Cuba and Matt will be filling the hotseat for a couple of weeks, so the service will be unaffected. There might not be any weekly updates until 13th April, though: at which point, I’ll bring you a full 3-week roundup.
