We started the week in same kind of form as we’d ended the previous week and had Zafranagar’s saddle not slipped on Saturday, we might have extended our run of placed horses beyond the ten we’d just rattled up (3211111313).

It has been a tremendous second half to the month and hopefully those of you who kept patience with me, through the difficult 6 weeks from the start of March, will now feel justified in your decision.

We lost 5.44pts in March, but the worst we can now do in April is a profit of 11.58pts, ensuring a minimum profit of 6.14pts from our “sticky spell” in the March/April transitional period.
