Stat of the Day Update: 26/05/14 to 31/05/14

It was another good week for SotD to round off yet another excellent month. Two winners at the start of the week set us up nicely for a 3.38pt profit regardless of what the next four days brought and despite finding no more winners, I was heartened with two decent-priced (6/1 & 5/1) on Friday and Saturday. Saturday’s runner was particularly close to signing the month off in style.

Nevertheless, May turned out really well with profits of 15.58pts almost matching those achieved in April. May was also our eighth profitable month in the last nine and since the turn of the year we’ve hit 38 winners from 133 selections (28.6% SR) for 43.34pts (+31.8% ROI) profits, whilst the last two months have been really good to us.

April and May combined has seen a one-in-three (17/51) strike rate with 32.16pts profit equating to a 63% return above stakes invested. June will bring another set of new challenges that we hope to master once again.
