It was a really good week for SotD, with just the one runner (About Turn on Friday) proving a disappointment. From the other five selections, we had three decent priced (7/2, 6/1 & 11/4) winners, a runner-up and a double-digit odds E/W gamble that just missed out on a place.

Every single one of our six runners went off at a shorter price than I had advised, some massively so. This once again highlights the benefit of taking the early value BOG price instead of SP. SP paid 6pts profit over the week from my selections, which is very good, but taking the BOG prices added a further 3.25pts or 54.2% to the bottom line.

And that is money you can’t afford to leave on the table.
