Stat of the Day : Update

Stat of the Day Update: 06/10/14 to 11/10/14

I suppose we were due a losing week after the fine run of form/results we’d enjoyed and to be honest, it was a real up and down week. Three unplaced runners and a non-runner to go with a runner-up who pretty much led for all of 3 miles plus before being reeled in on the run-in from the last obstacle and the highlight of the week was Wednesday’s runner.

What A Warrior not only became our 275th winner in less than three years of SotD, but it also took our overall profits through the 250pt barrier. Admittedly we’re just shy of that right now after three unsuccessful selections, but 249pts is still a figure we’re very proud of and we’ll be hoping to add more very soon.

However, without sounding like I’m getting my excuses in early, October is fraught with betting danger, as most of you will already know, so there might well be several losing battles on the way to winning the war.

Selections & Results: 06/10/14 to 11/10/14

06/10: Placidia (adv 5/1 BOG) : non-runner

06/10 to 11/10:

P/L: -1.25pts

2 winners from 8 = 25.00% S.R.
P/L: +2.05pts
POI = +25.63%

275 winners from 946 = 29.10% S.R
P/L: +236.73pts
ROI: +25.02%
plus a 12pt profit from 1 forecast => +248.73pts from a 947pt outlay = +26.29% ROI
