Stat of the Day : Update

Stat of the Day Update: 19/01/15 to 24/01/15

We went from the sublime of six straight winners to the ridiculous of five straight losers last week, reiterating my comments in last week’s update about the cyclical nature of daily “tipping”.

The bottom line is that whilst it’s disappointing/frustrating to have a blank week, our strike rate and ROI for the month are well above our average, it’s just that all the wins came like London Buses!

I’ve six more opportunities to make profit this month, but if it comes to pass that I’ve no winners this coming week, we would still finish January at 7/23 (30.4% SR) and a profit of 8.88pts (38.6% ROI), which both compare favourably with our long-term averages/objectives, as you can see below.

That, of course, is a worst case scenario and I’ll be working hard to add more winners this week!

Selections & Results: 19/01/15 to 24/01/15

19/01: Somchine (adv 5/2 BOG) : 4th at 5/2
20/01: General Tufto (adv 59/20 BOG) : 6th at 9/2
21/01: Chavoy (adv 4/1 BOG) : 2nd at 7/2
22/01: Bally Braes (adv 17/5 BOG) : PU at 9/2
23/01: First Dream (adv 4/1 BOG) : non-runner
24/01: True Course (adv 11/4 BOG) : 10th at 7/2

19/01/15 to 24/01/15:
0 winning bets from 5
P/L: -5.00pts

January:
7 winners from 17 = 41.18% S.R.
P/L: +14.88pts
POI = +87.53%

Overall:
295 winners from 1025 = 28.78% S.R
P/L: +242.57pts
ROI: +23.67%
plus a 12pt profit from 1 forecast => +254.57pts from a 1026pt outlay = +24.81% ROI
