You will have noticed a change to the look of geegeez since you last dropped by, and you may also be wondering where things have moved to since that last visit. Nobody likes change – humans are fundamentally programmed to resist it – so this post is designed to outline where things now live if that place is different from before.
Firstly, where do you login now? You’ll have noticed the login box in the right sidebar has been removed. In fact, the whole sidebar has been removed. It wasn’t really serving any purpose, so we decided to use that space better.
Login can now be found in the main menu, here:
The two top menus have been significantly revamped, with the main blue menu now covering the day’s racing: cards, results, reports and the tracker; as well as the login box and some buttons to allow you to connect with our increasingly active social media accounts.
You can see that, once you’re logged in, the ‘Login’ link becomes a ‘My Geegeez’ link, allowing you to access all of your personal settings directly from that link. You can also log out by selecting ‘My Geegeez’ > ‘Logout’.
Above the blue main menu is a white sub-menu, which has more of your favourite links, as follows:
From here you can join Gold, as well as link directly to the latest horse racing tips, blog content, Gold forum, Tipping League, and system and service trials and reviews.
The main body of the page is comprised of several elements, as follows:
– Graphical slider for not logged in / free users, reminding of the value of a Gold subscription
– Latest blog posts
– Quick links to all of today’s racing, and the latest fast results
– Latest horse racing tips, and a selection of yesterday’s winners highlighted by Gold content
We do expect there to be a few little ‘snags’ as we transition from the old look to the new, but we’re very hopeful we’ve already addressed the worst of those. If you spot anything you’re not sure about, please leave a comment below, or use the contact form – and thanks for helping us ‘trap’ any gremlins!
Again, I really hope you’ll find the new site more usable, and indeed useful.
