A cracking Saturday of sport is in prospect, especially for jump racing fans. The highlight is the Paddy Power Gold Cup, but the supporting action from both sides of the Irish Sea comprises a host of stars of the Winter game.
And, for the first time in what seems like ages, there are two genuinely excellent bookmaker concessions to avail of, listed below.
Also in this post I’ve linked to our top class racecards, tips and pointers and a free report for all registered users on Saturdays. But first, those offers…
DOUBLE ODDS ON FIRST RACE AT CHELTENHAM
If your horse wins the 12.40 at Cheltenham, SkyBet will pay your winnings in cash, and top up your account with the same amount again in free bets. For example, if you back Wolf Of Windlesham at 11/2 for £10 and he wins, you get your £10 stake back, £55 in winnings, and £55 in free bets. Not too shabby, and this offer extends to ALL Skybet customers.
GET 3/1 ON A 1/4 SHOT AND £170 IN FREE BETS
Paddy Power are offering NEW customers 3/1 about Faugheen winning the Morgiana Hurdle on Sunday. They’re also offering you, if you don’t yet have a Paddy accout, a £10 free bet every week between now and the Cheltenham Festival in March.
Now, there are some terms here, so let me cover the main ones (you should read all of them at the link below).
- Bet £10 on Faugheen and if he wins you get paid at his actual odds in cash, e.g. if he wins at 1/4, you return £12.50 cash. Your account is then topped up with £27.50 – the difference between 1/4 and 3/1 for £10 – in free bets.
- If you bet £10 or more with Paddy next week, they’ll give you a £10 free bet. For every unbroken week up until the Cheltenham Festival that you bet £10 or more with them, they’ll give you another £10 free bet. There are SEVENTEEN weeks until the Festival, meaning up to £170 in free bets.
- Offer is for UK/Ireland customers only
- If you don’t have an account with them, this really is a very, very good time to get one!
- Please do check the terms of the offer in full, which are at this link:
RACE CARDS & FORM TOOLS
To help you find winners, registered users will have full Gold access to SIX races, marked in yellow, on the racecards page. Just log in to see those. If you’re not yet a registered user, you can sign up for a two week Gold trial for just £5 here; or you can register a free account here.
Also for free registered users, Saturday is Trainer/Jockey Combo report day. This easy to use report is a constant source of value winners, despite the quite obvious angle of attack. You can access it here.
TIPS & POINTERS
As well as tools, cards, and reports we also have tips and pointers.
Double Dutch is our daily free bet, currently over 97 points to the good. The idea is to bet two horses in each of two races in four doubles. Yesterday, it nominated the first two home in its pair of races, and today’s post will be available here after 10am.
For Gold subscribers, we also have the peerless Stat of the Day. This one a day service has racked up profits of 345.24 points since starting almost exactly four years ago. If you’re not a Gold subscriber, you can read more about Stat of the Day here.
And for everyone, there is our Saturday TV Trends post. This week, eight races are covered, including the first six from Cheltenham, and all six Channel 4 races.
Plus, don’t forget our newest addition, Mal Boyle’s Placepot Pointers. These excellent insights cover the recent track history in placepot terms, and also the last five years’ worth of data for the meeting, making for some intriguing reading.
There really is something for everyone on geegeez.co.uk, regardless of your membership level. So, please, dive in and, from all of the team here, have a great weekend!
