SotD Update, 1st to 13th February 2016

For one reason or other, last week’s update didn’t appear, so here’s what has happened in the last fortnight.

February started as badly as January finished as the 7 losing bets in a row that ended the previous month turned to a run of 16 before Bosham’s timely 6/1 winner last Thursday. A huge sigh of relief  was given and with fresh impetus behind us, a 5/1 winner was quickly found two days later to ensure a small profit was made over the fortnight.

That said, we had been a touch unlucky in the run up to those two winners with a few very close defeats for horses priced at 6/1, 13/2 and 5/1 with a win for any one (or more!) of them putting a whole new complexion on the month. I’m hoping that we’re turning a corner now and we can crack on towards more profit in the second half of the month.
