This is a 0-110 handicap chase at Fakenham and on the face of it, not too many of the runners have been in good form.

Nigel Twiston-Davies has however been in terrific form over the past month, with 16 winners from 51 runners (31.37%) for a level stakes profit of 21.49. Therefore, any horses he runs at the moment are definitely worth a second look.

Just the two runners stand out when looking at the Instant Expert tab on the place setting.

Both Gamain and Queen Spud have two sections of green and three of amber, showing they are well suited by today’s conditions and have a great chance of running a decent race.

Queen Spud has run twice here at Fakenham before and has won both times, so that’s another nice plus for her.

The Pace tab shows that it is very much an advantage to be at the head of affairs, or at worst just tucked in behind. Leaders have a 22% win record with horses that run prominently an almost 21% strike rate.

Queen Spud is sure to be up with the pace as she likes to get on with things and it wouldn’t be a surprise to see Richard Johnson try and make all on her.

Little Windmill is another who is a confirmed front runner and may look to take Queen Spud on early doors.

Henry Daly doesn’t run his horse at Fakenham on a regular basis, but when he does they invariably run well. He has three winners from seven runners (42.86%) for a level stakes profit of 11.00. He runs Queen Spud here today and given what we have seen above, he definitely has place claims at 6/1.
