The Instant Expert tab is an excellent tool for getting a snapshot of which horses are suited by the various race conditions that they will face on any given day (and it is free to all users for every race on a Thursday).

When looking at the report for this race, Signed Request immediately stands out with four sections of green and one of amber. He is clearly well suited by what he will encounter today and looks like he may be a bit of value at 8/1.

The Pace tab shows that it is a definite advantage to be towards the front of the race here at this distance. Leaders have a 23.64% strike rate, with prominent runners winning 18.85% of the time.

This is useful to know, however it is decidedly tricky trying to call which runners will be likely to look to make a quick start when looking at the pace scores. Five runners have the joint highest score and it appears that none of them have a real confirmed way of running. Lock Towers looks likely to want to get on with things and given that he has raced over a few furlongs further than today’s distance, he could well turn this into a stamina test.
