Monday’s pick goes in the…
Before I post the daily selection, just a quick reminder of how I operate the service. Generally, I’ll identify and share the selection in the evening before the following day’s race and I then add a detailed write-up later on that night/next morning.
Those happy to take the early price on trust can do so, whilst some might prefer to wait for my reasoning. As I fit the early service in around my family life, I can’t give an exact timing on the posts, so I suggest you follow us on Twitter and/or Facebook for instant notifications of a published pick.
Nimr @ 2/1 BOG
Nimr is a lightly raced four year old colt for Richard Fahey, who looks to have plenty of ability. He finished fifth to The Gifted Master over this distance as a two year old and I really like the look of him. He is just two pounds higher than for his last victory, where he was staying on very nicely over six furlongs here at Wolverhampton.
He has a few nice stats in his favour which are as follows.
- The artificial surface holds no fears as he is 1/2 (50%) for 5 pts
- Here at Wolverhampton he is 1/1 (100%) for 6 pts
- Trainer Richard Fahey has been in useful form recently and is 4/25 (16%) for 0.5pts
- His sire, Shamadal does considerably better with all weather runners than his overall performance, and that is improved again with sprinters.
…so for Monday…a 1pt win bet on Nimr @ 2/1 BOG which was available with Bet365 at 7.00pm on Sunday. To see what your preferred bookie is offering, simply…
Don’t forget, we offer a full interactive racecard service every day!
REMINDER: THERE IS NO STAT OF THE DAY ON SUNDAYS
