New on Geegeez: A to Z, and Pace Filters
We’ve added a couple of new bobbins on geegeez.co.uk this past week or so. Nothing earth-shattering but helpful additions, I hope.
A to Z Report
One of the more obvious missing components of the site was a handy reference of today’s (and tomorrow’s) runners, riders, trainers and sires. Well, we’ve put that right now. It looks a bit like this:
You can find a link to the A to Z Report in the reports menu at the top of the page, and also in the report dropdown on the racecards page, and also on the Reports page.
Pace Tab: Race Type Filter
Meanwhile, we’ve also added an auto-filter on the pace tab which displays the historical data at the top of the tab based on race type. Specifically, if a race is a handicap, the pace tab historical data for the course and distance uses solely handicap race past performances. If the race type is a non-handicap, all race data is included.
One thing to be aware of with this is that some of the sample sizes are on the small side (and some are on the very small side). If you’re not happy with the volume of data there, you can either extend the going and/or field size ranges, and/or select ‘All’ if the race type filter is set to ‘Hcap’.
Here’s how the new filters look:
A couple of small improvements to geegeez.co.uk. The A to Z report is accessible to all site users, whereas the Pace tab content is for Gold subscribers only. There is more information on these changes, as well as all our Gold functionality in the User Guide. Check your My Geegeez page for the latest version (v1.62 in the link above).
If you’re not yet a Gold subscriber, you can learn more about what we have to help you find great value bets here.
