We suffered a little bit of deja vu this week, as a non-runner and some placers were once again the highlights of an otherwise barren week. That said, we’d already done enough in the first half of the month to secure a small profit and although my recent form over the past two weeks isn’t good at all, I must reiterate the necessity for a proper betting bank and some patience.
This is a long-term project and if you’re not happy with taking the rough with the smooth, then it’s clearly not for you.
Overall, May ended up in profit, in fact we were just 1 winner at 3/1 away from the month equalling our overall historical figures and also those already achieved this year.
I don’t set much stall out from short-term form : good or bad, I’m just interested in making long-term consistent profit. We’ve strike rate in excess of 27% from almost 2300 selections overall and an ROI of 23.4%, whilst 2019 also runs to the same strike but with a slightly better yield.
I call that consistent, but if a fortnight’s poor form is going to cause you discomfort, now is the time to stop following me or any other “tipster”.
